Weekly Plan

Rest & Review Strategy

Take one full rest day per week and reduce intensity every fourth week to avoid burnout. On rest days, watch Japanese dramas or anime for passive immersion. Continue daily Anki reviews of 15 minutes even on rest days to maintain vocabulary retention across this 14-week period.

Adjustment Tips

  1. 1

If reading is your weakest section, add 20 minutes of daily Japanese reading (news, manga, or novels) outside study hours.

  2. 2

If listening comprehension is low, supplement with 30 minutes of daily Japanese podcast or video immersion.

  3. 3

If grammar patterns are not sticking, write your own example sentences and use them in conversation practice.

  4. 4

If you already passed N3 recently, you may be able to compress the vocabulary weeks and spend more time on reading and listening.

  5. 5

If burnout sets in, take two consecutive rest days and extend the plan by one week rather than forcing low-quality study sessions.
